Isle Saint Pierre welcomes you every year for its Wine & Old Cars day or Art & Wine event to share a friendly moment.
Wine & Old Cars
Every Whit Sunday, all vintage car fans are welcomed in the shade of the plane trees for a big picnic.
The day provides Isle Saint Pierre with a perfect opportunity to introduce you to its new wines. While some will challenge each other on the pétanque [bowls] ground to the sound of the music band, others will stroll among old vehicles (including cars, motorbikes, bicycles and tractors). Everyone can vote for their favourite vehicle, and the winner will be pleased to see their car set, with the little ram, Isle Saint Pierre’s mascot, against a backdrop painted by Valéry Muller, a perfect shot for the following year’s greetings card. And all participating vintage vehicles will leave with a reward (all the more so if the crew wears a period costume). During the final parade, they will receive a Wine & Old Cars Special Edition magnum.
Art & Wine
Independent winegrowers offer visitors an artistic and wine-discovering journey around the region’s wineries. Isle Saint Pierre has been taking part in this for many years. Every summer, the doors of the Mas are opened for an artist to take over the house and exhibit their work.
This summer exhibition is open to all.
