“The Rhône River, an Island, a Vineyard”

A Family Story

Arles, 1927 : After truly pioneering work, Pierre Chassaing set up the winery and introduced a sheep herd.
Today, the 230-hectare vineyard surrounds the Isle Saint-Pierre wine cellar. This island in the Rhône, located 15km away from the mouth of the river, is
the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône valley […]

Our Wines

Discover the different vintages, both traditional and new, on Domaine Isle Saint-Pierre’s online shop.

From the not-to-be-missed “Depuis 1927” [Since 1927] and “Ripisylve” to more original vintages such as “Cépages” [Varieties] and “Éditions Spéciales” [Special Editions], you will find everything you could wish for.

Events at the Winery

Winegrowing is all about passion, and that’s what we like to share with our visitors: tasting sessions in the cellar, meetings and events are regular features of life on the estate throughout the year.

Two high points are included in this programme: the great picnic organised every Whit Sunday, where all vintage car enthusiasts are welcomed in the shade of the plane trees for a friendly moment with music; and our “Art & Wine” summer exhibition, combining oenology, art of living and culture.
